Sure, there are better quality microphones in the market and they might tote better sound and higher tech specs. But, the thing is, this microphone wins hands down on ease of use and versatility, especially if you have the right Blue Yeti boom arm or Blue Yeti mic stand.

The Reviews
Here are some reviews from Amazon clients that can help you know more about the Samson MBA38 Microphone Boom Arm.
My God, I was worried because I couldn’t find anything on this boom arm on youtube except for one person that posted a “review” on twitch and while he seemed like a nice guy the video quality was lacking BUT I took his word for it and this thing has been great! the arm itself is metal and it looks like the RODE PS1 that retails for double the price of this one. I have seen the complaints about the RODE model and metal shavings or noise when you move it and this has none of that. The Samson here I got for $49.99 and free shipping and man I have no regrets, it’s holding my Audio-Technica at2020 usb+ mic and filter like a champ! it has velcro straps to keep the cord nestled against the boom arm. The entire piece of equipment is very nice and well worth the money.

The best microphone arm that works with a wide range of microphones. Unlike the RODE PSA1 Swivel Mount Studio Microphone Boom Arm, the Samson broadcast boom works with lighter microphones. I use mine with the Audio-Technica AT875R Line/Gradient Shotgun Condenser Microphone and a Nady SSPF-3 – Microphone Spider Shockmount With Integrated Pop Filter. It stays put wherever you move it, even without a microphone attached. I’m glad my research into the PSA1 revealed that shortcoming before I ordered. It comes with two low profile velcro straps for cable management. You may want to find extra if you want a very neat set up.

Great boom. I have a Rodent-1 with a Shure pop filter attached. This boom handles it no problem. It was actually a little stiff at first but is getting broken in now and I love it. I had my eye on the Rode scissor boom for a while but never wanted to drop the money. This seems every bit as good.

Purchased as one of three gifts for granddaughter to use with her voiceover work. She was very pleased.

This boom arm met my expectations, it is the right length and very sturdy, I use it with an ATR2035 mic.
